PaganiStudio is a traditional design atelier in New York that specializes in contemporary, handmade lighting fixtures. Our designers and artisans take pride in detailed craftsmanship, refined quality, and the selection of luxurious, hand-worked materials such as rock crystal, European alabaster, hand-laid quartz, bronze, mica, and a selection of rich woods.
Each of our designs marries these classic materials to contemporary forms so as to achieve an elegant and timeless balance; in celebration of the designed space, the fixtures complement both modern and traditional interiors.
Stéphane and Frouwkje Pagani, the principals and creative directors, design each exclusive collection. For over two decades, the duo has collaborated with prestigious interior design and architecture professionals on distinguished projects around the world, among them a large scale chandelier for the White House.
Veranda magazine wrote “PaganiStudio continues to express their luminous modernism…designing clean, contemporary chandeliers that have made their way to the Four Seasons in Costa Rica and the White House.”
Domino magazine described the Paganis as “lighting masters,” heading “an innovative lighting-design company” that offers “seductive geometric lighting” solutions to designers worldwide.
All of our fixtures are made to order and can be customized to meet a client’s specifications. The Paganis embrace challenges ranging from the creation of a custom finish to the design of a unique piece for a specific installation.
Our fixtures are handmade in Brooklyn, New York, and are either UL or CE certified to comply with international standards.
Stéphane is originally from France, studied architecture in the United States, and founded PaganiStudio in 1995. Frouwkje is Dutch American and grew up abroad and in Chicago. Before joining Stéphane in 2001, Frouwkje was a Design and Decorating Editor for House Beautiful magazine. They live in Brooklyn, NY with their two children.
We sincerely thank you for your interest in our lighting fixture collections.
